Q. My alarm doesn't ring.

Check that notifications are allowed in iPhone Settings > Notifications > DrawWake. If you use the silent switch or Focus mode, keeping the app open overnight makes the alarm most reliable.

Q. My posted drawing disappeared.

On the free plan, post images on the server are automatically deleted after about 20 days (Premium keeps them indefinitely). Drawings in the gallery on your iPhone are never deleted.

Q. How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > DrawWake, and cancel anytime.

Q. How do I join a group?

Open the Friends tab, choose "Groups," then tap "Join with a code" and enter the 8-character invite code you received. You can also scan the QR code or tap a shared invite link. Free accounts can be in up to 10 groups; Premium allows up to 50.

Q. Who can see my drawings?

Drawings are private until you tap "post." When posting you choose the audience: all friends, close friends only, or a single group. Group-only posts never appear in the main feed or stories.

Q. Can I add a friend to a group directly?

You send them an invitation instead. Open the group, tap invite, choose "Invite from friends," and pick who to invite — no code needed. They join once they accept. We ask for consent because joining a group makes your morning drawings visible to that group's members, and that shouldn't happen to someone without their agreement.

Q. How do group prompts work?

In a group you can "Send a prompt" so everyone in the group can draw it, or "Ask for a prompt" and any member can answer. When someone answers your request, that word becomes your prompt for the next morning — the same as a prompt from a single friend, except anyone in the group can be the one to answer.

Q. How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings > Account > Delete Account. This removes all your data from the server.
